Will Burns has announced that he will return to the Ginetta GT4 SuperCup with Rob Boston Racing for the 2019 season.
Burns was runner-up in the 2016 Ginetta GT4 SuperCup narrowly missing out on the title by just three points.
He went on to spend 2017 in the BTCC and he competed in the British GT championship last year, driving a Ginetta G55 GT4.
Speaking of his return to the category, Burns said, “I’m delighted to be returning to the Millers Oils Ginetta GT4 SuperCup in 2019. I’ve loved my time in the championship previously and I’m excited to see what success I can achieve this year with Rob Boston Racing.”
“The team’s recent success in the Supercup speaks for itself and when I started looking at the Supercup for 2019, I knew they were the team for me. I feel right at home behind the wheel of a Ginetta G55 GT4, so I’m confident we can hit the ground running together.”
Rob Boston Racing are the reigning champions having won the title with Charlie Ladell last year.
The team, who have won the title twice in the last three seasons, will be looking for Burns to challenge for the title along with his teammate, James Kell.
