Nathan Edwards will return to the UK Clio Cup this weekend as he rejoins MRM for the Snetterton round.
Edwards, who last raced at Croft will once again race alongside fellow MRM drivers Jack Young and Brett Lidsey who lie second and third in the driver’s standings.
The Tunbridge Wells driver enjoyed a strong round at Croft last time out, ending up fourth having lost a podium spot on the final lap to Team HARD’s Jamie Bond.
Having come so close to the podium, Edwards will be hoping he can rectify that and stand on one of the top three steps this weekend in his pursuit to help MRM overtake Team HARD in the Teams standings.
MRM had been leading the standings up until Oulton Park but they have now dropped back to second and trail Team HARD by 21 points.
Max Coates currently leads the Driver’s standings with 176 points, six more than Young.
