Brett Lidsey has taken pole position for the opening UK Clio Cup race at Silverstone, ahead of his MRM team-mate Jack Young.
Lidsey set a best time of 1m04.111s to go fastest, 0.048s ahead of Young, who returns to the Clio Cup after competing in TCR Europe last weekend.
Championship leader Max Coates was third fastest, just under a tenth slower than Young, while Westbourne Motorsport driver Ben Colburn set a time good enough for fourth.
Team HARD driver Jamie Bond set a best time of 1m04.493s to go fifth, while Jade Edwards set the sixth fastest time on her return to the championship having missed the last meeting at Knockhill.
Anton Spires will start seventh in race one, ending the session just 0.015s ahead of MRM driver Nathan Edwards.
Ethan Hammerton was ninth fastest with a best time of 1m04.766s, while Specialized Motorsport driver Luke Warr rounded out the top ten.
