The 2020 Alfa Romeo challenger has taken to the track in shakedown test at Fiorano, giving a glimpse of the team’s new car for the season.
The Italian-Swiss team are due to hold an official unveiling next week, ahead of the opening Formula 1 pre-season test at Barcelona, but they put their new car through its paces on Friday in a shakedown test at the Italian Ferrari-owned circuit.
The car was complete with a new black livery, but it is assumed that this is a testing livery only and that the squad will revert back to its original colours for the start of the season.
The team’s new sponsor, ORLEN, featured prominently on the car, with the Polish company joining as a title sponsor for this season, following Robert Kubica’s arrival at the team as a reserve driver.
Alfa Romeo are another team to field an un-changed line-up in 2020, with Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi teaming up for another year at the Sauber-run squad.
