Mercedes has revealed images of its 2020 Formula 1 car, the W11, ahead of a shakedown test at Silverstone later today.
The world champions had already unveiled their new livery on Monday at an event held in London, with the team also announcing a new sponsorship deal with INEOS, and the Brackley-based squad has now revealed the first images of the new W11.
The car will take to the Silverstone circuit later today as the team undertake filming duties, and they will be hoping the W11 possess all the qualities that will allow them to secure a seventh consecutive championship double.
As was first revealed on Monday, the W11 features a similar livery to its predecessor, but now includes the addition of burgundy on the inside of the front wing endplates as well as around the airbox. The INEOS logo also features on the back of the rear wing, and a single red star remains included on the engine cover, in tribute to Niki Lauda who passed away last year.
Once again, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will race for the team in another un-changed line-up, with Hamilton aiming to secure a record-equalling seventh world title.
