Racing Point has unveiled their new car, while also announcing that BWT has become the team’s 2020 title sponsor, replacing Sport Pesa.
Racing Point’s new car, the RP20 has retained it’s pink and white livery, but there have been slight tweaks, including the incorporation of BWT’s logo running diagonally across the side of the car.
The team – who will become the Aston Martin works team next season- also announced that BWT has replaced Sport Pesa as the team’s title sponsor for 2020, with the car launch taking place at BWT’s headquarters in Austria on Monday.
In addition to the inclusion of BWT’s logo on the new car, the water technology company will help Racing Point to become more sustainable, helping the team cut down on their use of plastic as the series aims to become net zero carbon by 2030.
Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez will remain with the Silverstone-based squad for 2020, continuing their partnership from last season that helped Racing Point finish seventh in the constructors’ standings.
