United Autosports has confirmed the renewal of its official partnership with software corporation eXtended Collaboration Document Systems (XCDS) for 2020.
XCDS is an international software vendor based in London and they specialise in developing high-load data processing systems and document editors, like the Collabio cloud document platform.
They are also established in communication services development and maintenance experience.
Their product allows its users to create, share and co-edit office documents, communicate through email and messaging, arrange meetings in calendars and share contact information.
The initial partnership began in 2019 when they partnered for the Le Mans 24 event and their European Le Mans Series campaign.
It was “a great opportunity to introduce the XCDS product to an international audience in a sport we love and with which we have had a strong relationship in the past,” their founder, Andrei Chaglakov, said in 2019.
The partnership for 2020 entails another campaign at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the ELMS.
He commented on the renewed partnership for the 2020 endurance venture.
“We are delighted to be renewing our relationship with United Autosports. We are ready to start an international marketing campaign for XCDS in the coming months and I have always favoured collaborations with like-minded businesses.
“I believe Zak (Brown) and his team share our belief in the power of technology and communications which have become so vital during this pandemic ‘lock down’.
“We are also really looking forward to seeing the XCDS name out there, supporting live sport.”
Zak Brown, Team Owner and Chairman of United Autosports said: “I’m really pleased that we have been able to renew our deal with XCDS for another year.
“We are hopeful that this relationship will continue to grow over the course of the season and I’m delighted to have them on board again.”
Richard Dean, Team Owner and Managing Director at United Autosports said: “It is great to have the support of the team at XCDS for a second year.
“As our official partner, they will support the team in our ELMS and Le Mans 24 Hours campaigns throughout the year as we proudly carry their branding on our race cars and the driver’s suits.
“We are looking forward to going racing again with them when it is safe to do so.”
The current status shows that the 2020 ELMS season is due to kick off at Paul Ricard in July, since the season was put on hold due to the pandemic. This year’s 88th running of the Le Mans 24 is scheduled to take place on September 19-20.
