Obliteration. A completely mega lap from Antonio Felix Da Costa gave him his third pole in a row in Formula E’s second Berlin E-Prix.
Da Costa was over four tenths ahead of second place qualifier Sebastien Buemi who just pipped the front row from Alex Lynn and Nyck De Vries, with the gap between them being under a tenth.
Da Costa is now on 100 points at the top of the table, 44 points ahead of championship rival Mitch Evans who will start 16th and even further ahead of Alex Sims, 52 points gap, who is third in the championship and will start last.
Buemi said he was at the front of “Formula E point 5” and does not think he can match Da Costa in the race at all.
Robin Frijns qualified fifth looking for a better performance than his retirement in Berlin I yesterday.
Lucas Di Grassi was the last of those in super pole after locking up into turn one on his flying lap.
Oliver Rowland was in super pole contention until the last moment when Lynn jumped into the session on the last group stage lap. He will start seventh.

Jean-Eric Vergne missed qualified eighth, again behind his teammate who was in an earlier qualifying group than him, he starts ahead of Sam Bird for Virgin.
Edo Mortara rounds out the top ten, fractionally ahead of Max Gunther and Andre Lotterer.
Stoffel Vandoorne was the fourth-fastest of those from Group 1 in 13th, ahead of Jerome D’Ambrosio and Alex Sims. Sims will take a grid penalty for a requested battery change, however, and will start from the back of the grid.
Oliver Turvey put in a trademark good lap at the end to put himself 16th and way ahead of his new teammate Daniel Abt who is 22nd.
Mitch Evans struggled with Group 1 again and is 17th ahead of Felipe Massa and Nico Muller.
Neel Jani and Sergio Sette Camara were ahead of Abt with James Calado and Rene Rast qualifying last.
