ByKolles Racing has revealed the livery that their #4 ENSO CLM P1/01 will be carrying at the historic race.
ByKolles Racing are, once again, racing in the LMP1 category (since their move from LMP2 to LMP1 in 2014) at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans race taking place on September 19-20.
The annual event at the Circuit de la Sarthe will be the final time an LMP1 will race competitively with the arrival of the Le Mans Hypercar class next year, of which ByKolles will be a part of.
The ACO announced the fact that there will be no spectators at the race, combining with the LMP1 news to make it a different and unique Le Mans in recent times.
On the unveiled livery, ByKolles’ Head of Operations Boris Bermes said: “We collaborated with livery designer Mark Antar Design for the second consecutive year to create a new look for our 2020 contender.
“He delivered our best and most refined livery to date along with stunning 3D visuals to showcase the design in its full glory.”
Designer Mark Antar gave his thoughts: “I came up with this design to celebrate the new ByKOLLES brand identity.
“The colours remain unmistakably ByKOLLES, while the main graphics on the sides and front nose take influence from the new logo to enforce a strong brand image, fit to compete in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race.”
ByKolles competed in last month’s WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, where they finished 27th overall as they faced engine troubles throughout and towards the end.
At last year’s Le Mans ’24, they claimed fourth position and will look to reach the checkered flag for another time and fight for a third spot on the podium against the #6 Ginetta LNT and the two Rebellions.
