Pramac Racing have become the next team uncover their 2021 challenger, revealing their Ducati ahead of the upcoming season.
In an online presentation, the Italian team showed off a similar-looking bike to last year, with the red, white and blue remaining on the Desmosedici GP.
For 2021, Pramac Racing will take to the MotoGP grid with a brand new rider line-up in Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco.
Martin joins the team as a rookie in the premier class, having competed in Moto2 for the past two years, whilst Zarco joins after a one year stint with Esponsorama Racing, this will be his fifth year in MotoGP.
The Ducati satellite team had a strong 2020 campaign, finishing fifth in the Teams’ Standings, and Paolo Campinoti, Pramac Racing’s Team Principal, says the objective is to remain at the front end of the grid.
“This year’s goal will be to reconfirm ourselves at very important levels after the excellent results obtained in the last Championship,” he said in a press release.
“2021 will be a very heartfelt season for us, it will in fact be the anniversary of Pramac Racing’s 20th anniversary in the MotoGP paddock, a goal that fills me with pride, satisfaction and happiness.
“2020 has shown that the hard work associated with the great professionalism of the people who make up the Team pay off for all the efforts and sacrifices made.
“It is therefore with the same enthusiasm with which we have concluded an important chapter that we are ready to open a new one with two drivers in which I strongly believe, Johann Zarco and Jorge Martín with whom I hope we will achieve great goals.”
With eight liveries now revealed ahead of the 2021 season, only Petronas SRT, Aprilia and Suzuki are left.
Pre-season testing will get underway next week, at Losail, Qatar.
