Toyota GAZOO Racing UK teases first glance at 2021 livery

Toyota GAZOO Racing UK has teased the livery of their Toyota Corollas that will compete in 2021 British Touring Car Championship.

The Speedworks Motorsport name are due to enter the 2021 British Touring Car Championship with a duo of Toyota Corollas.

The 2019 Independents’ champion Rory Butcher, and BTCC returnee Sam Smelt will be racing the only Corollas on the 2021 grid.

Christian Dick, Team Principal at Toyota GAZOO Racing UK said:

“It goes without saying that we are delighted to extend our relationships with Motul and Witham Motorsport to what will be nine years by the end of 2022.”

The full livery for the team’s competition car is due to be revealed late into March before the two drivers are due to start pre-season testing.

The livery will be heavily featuring Toyota’s title sponsor Motul which is part of an ongoing eight-year relationship between the two brands.

He continued: “Motul, and its official UK importer and distributor Witham Motorsport, have been loyal partners on our journey in the BTCC as we have developed from a midfield team into a multiple race winner and title challenger in recent seasons.”

Yet to be fully unveiled, it is one of the most anticipated releases on the grid this year with multiple spec changes and adjustments being leaked and shown off prior to the release date.

Their revised two-year partnership with Witham Motorsport is sure to boost the team further up the grid in what is shaping up to be a potentially very successful year.

The team look promising heading into pre-season testing with a strong level of sponsorship and the continued support of a works manufacturer (Toyota) behind them.

This is the season to show the BTCC paddock exactly what Toyota are truly capable of at the beginning of May.
