The AF Corse team has revealed their GTE-Pro liveries at Misano, featuring on a pair of Ferrari 488 GTE Evos that will compete in the FIA WEC.
The Ferrari factory team in GT racing, AF Corse, has partnered with Sky Sports to reveal their 2021 GTE-Pro liveries at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
The #51 and #52 cars make up the four cars competing in the category, with Porsche fielding two 911 RSRs.
A new 2021 line-up for the #51 was announced in the past weeks with Ferrari factory GT regulars Miguel Molina and Daniel Serra.
The other line-up remains the same with Le Mans winning duo James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
The reigning GTE Manufacturers’ Champions, Aston Martin, folded their programme after eight seasons.
The 2021 Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles will be won by either Porsche or Ferrari (drivers).
This will be the case with the Corvette Racing team set to join at Portimão and Le Mans, with two further entries at Le Mans by Ferrari – #71 AF Corse and the WeatherTech and Risi Competizione cars.
The Italian manufacturer recently announced a return to the top tier of endurance racing with a Le Mans Hypercar programme and an FIA WEC entry in 2023.
As the GTE works programmes conclude themselves, their attention will fixate on their numerous GT (endurance and sprint) projects, and LMH.
