The entry list for the opening round, the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, reveals 37 competitors across the four FIA WEC vehicle classes.

The third reshuffle of the Season 9 calendar placed the 6 Hours of Spa as the host of the opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time.

Almost 40 cars span across the four categories: Le Mans Hypercar, LMP2, LM-GTE Pro, LM-GTE-Am.

The scheduled five cars in the Hypercar category remain scheduled to compete, featuring two Toyotas, two cars for WEC debutants Glickenhaus, and a single-entry for Alpine.

The driver crews for the Toyota GAZOO Racing squad were kept the same, as announced earlier this year, as the same for Alpine.

Glickenhaus announced a roster of seven drivers this year but the list so far mentions Gustavo Menezes taking wheel of the #708 and Ryan Briscoe at the #709.

LMP2 has been expanded from the original 11 entries when Portimão was set to be the first round, to 14 competitors in the category featuring a double G-Drive Racing line-up.

The GTE-Pro category remains as expected with two AF Corse and two Porsche entries, plus the #63 Corvette Racing.

Ferrari rejigged their line-up for this season from their pick of GT factory driver regulars.

Porsche brings Neel Jani to partner fellow Porsche regular Kevin Estre in one of two 911 RSR-19s.

The GTE-Am category also remains unchanged from the 6 Hours of Portimão entry list featuring 13 cars.

Amongst the mix are WEC debutants D’station Racing as well as Cetilar Racing who moved from their LMP2 campaign last year.

The Rolex 24 at Daytona earlier this year was the final outing for their Dallara P217.

All of the 37 entries will participate at the Prologue (pre-season testing) on April 26-27, followed by the opening race weekend build-up to the 6 Hours of Spa race on May 1.
