Ciceley Motorsport has showcased their 2021 livery featuring new title sponsorship ‘Car Gods’ and will run on their two BMW 330i M Sports.
The Lancashire-based team will be running a pair of new BMW 330i M Sport cars that succeeds the two Mercedes-Benz A Class of previous years.
Adam Morgan retained his seat with Ciceley whilst Tom Chilton switched from BTC Racing and their Honda Civic Type R FK8 machinery to a rear-wheel drive saloon package.
Morgan commented on testing so far: “Both Tom [Chilton] and I have really got to grips with the BMW and its rear-wheel-drive characteristics straight away.
“We have been on the pace at every test so far and still have another four tests to go before the season starts.
“We are all very confident that the cars will be ultra-competitive straight out of the box,” having won six championship titles since introduced in 2019 by West Surrey Racing.
“The cars look amazing, I was blown away when I first saw them in the flesh.”
Ciceley Motorsport’s Commercial Director, Norman Burgess, added:
“This has got to be our biggest year to date. With new title sponsorship, new cars and two top drivers, together with our existing engineers, team members and values, we’re in the best possible position to do well in 2021 and beyond.
“It gives us great confidence moving towards a new era with the BTCC’s move to hybrid in 2022.”
With several private tests left to go until the official pre-season test at Silverstone, the team are becoming more familiar with their new pair of BMWs.
