Max Verstappen topped the leaderboard of the final free practice of the Austrian Grand Prix with a fastest time of 1m04.591s.

With the attendance of the Mercedes Benz CEO , Ola Källenius, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas had hoped to impress. Although not being able to catch the Red Bull of Verstappen, the two Mercedes proved themselves as Bottas finished second followed by his teammate in third.

Rounding off the top ten was the Red Bull of Sergio Perez in ninth who was followed by Sebastian Vettel in tenth.

Yuki Tsunoda topped the leaderboard in the first ten minutes of the session until Lando Norris knocked him off the top spot. After a spin out at Turn 9 causing the only yellow flag of the session, Tsunoda finished 12th behind Lance Stroll.

Norris is another driver who had a disappointing morning. After veering off the track multiple times, Norris continued what looked to be an uncomfortable start to the weekend behind Esteban Ocon and George Russell.

Daniel Ricciardo followed his teammate has he finished in 16th ahead of Kimi Raikkonen in 17th who had his time deleted for exceeding track limits.
